Sally Westlake / Legal Projects Manager
Sally is our Legal Projects Manager and soon-to-be solicitor.
Sally joined Kay & Hughes with over 10 years’ experience in media and entertainment. Most recently, an accomplished career at music rights organisation APRA AMCOS where she worked on matters in the District and Federal Courts, the Copyright Tribunal of Australia, and on complex rights management issues in digital and new media spaces.
In this time she became deeply engaged with Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property rights of First Nations artists, assisting the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Music Office with research, policy development and lobbying. Prior, Sally has worked on national advertising campaigns in production music and as a copywriter.
